Why Tallow?

-          Tallow has been used for centuries in skin care. Grass-Fed tallow is high in fat soluble vitamins like A, D, E, and K which allow the skin to absorb the moisturizing nutrients found in tallow. Packed with collagen, antioxidants, and natural fatty acids, grass-fed tallow has everything your skin needs and craves. Known for being anti-inflammatory, antifungal, and antimicrobial, tallow not only moisturizes but has deep cleansing properties as well. Synthetic skin care products often “sit on top” of your skin leaving your skin feeling greasy and oily (not to mention all of the harsh chemicals, dyes, hormone disrupters, etc.) Tallow mimics your skin’s natural oils, thus enabling it to penetrate the skin without clogging pours and deliver, in our humble opinion, the best moisturizing and beneficial skin product out there.  

You use lye in your soap. Isn’t that dangerous?

-          Perhaps one of the most common questions in soap making is the question over whether lye is dangerous in soap. While lye in and of itself is dangerous, lye undergoes a process called saponification when combined with oils in the soap making process. The resulting and finished soap product is lye free and completely harmless. In fact, making soap without lye isn’t technically soap at all!  

Do you do custom orders?

-          Absolutely! We do offer larger orders than what is seen on our website for a discounted price. Feel free to contact us and we would be happy to accommodate.   

What do you use to color the soap and other products?

-          We use only natural colorants for our soaps and other skin care products. We never use any synthetic dyes. Some of the natural colorants we use are kaolin clay, indigo powder, turmeric, hibiscus powder, etc.

Are your fragrances/essential oils paraben and phthalate free?

-          Yes, all of our fragrances and essential oils are free from hormone disrupters like parabens and phthalates. We strive to always use all-natural scents

Do you ship overseas?

-          We do not ship overseas at the moment but are striving to make that a possibility in the future.
